David A. Mintz is the founder and principal of The Mintz Lighting Group Inc. He is a founder and Fellow of the IALD, served on the Board of Directors and was the first Chair of the College of Fellows. He is a recipient of the IALD Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Mintz is a Fellow Emeritus of the IES and also served on the Board of Fellows. His work includes some of the most recognized projects in the United States including the Leonard P. Zakim Bridge in Boston, MA, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the National Mall and the relighting of both the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. He is currently engaged as the Lighting Design Reviewer for the proposed Dwight Eisenhower Memorial, also in Washington, DC.
